Ancient Egyptians were one of the first civilizations ever built. they were advanced in many aspects of science, such as astronomy, medicine, architecture, construction, irrigation, etc.
some of their pioneer ways are still not fully known, their civilization still holds lots of secrets. the most important thing in my opinion is the code of laws they adopted in their religion.
they knew also how to mummify the dead and preserve the bodies for a long time. Their civilization were really the dawn of consciousness as described by James Henry Breasted.

The ancient Egyptian civilization built countless temples, and tombs. They built quite a few pyramids, not just the famous three at Giza. Those three, incidentially, were made so that the sides face north, south, east, and west and they are lined up with the three stars in the constellation Orion's belt. They had a written language (heiroglyphics), and were a blooming civilization when most other civilizations were nomadic. The Pyramids at Giza are also the only wonders of the ancient world still standing. The priests of Egypt perfected embalming the dead through mummification. The library at Alexandria was also an amazing accomplishment, it was the largest in the world, but unfortunately it was destroyed. In summary Ancient Egypt is famous for the amazing construction of tombs (the pyramids are also tombs) and the preservation of the dead for the afterlife.

The major achievements I see about ancient Egyptians is super knowledge. They invented and discovered about sciences what we can not do know with all the available technology.

Building Pyramids, Temples, and Obelisks needed knowledge about: Architecture, physics, astronomy.
The bulk size buildings needed: Hard Workers, Huge-Team work abilities.
Reserving kings' dead bodies required medicine geniuses.

I think their secret is giving the science a high priority.

the ancient egyptian civilization is very famous, and its secrets are still studied by professors and scientist from all over the world.
the Pharaonic era was amazing, one of the most interesting things invented by pharaohs is keeping mummies till now, we have alot of pharaohs' dead bodies safe till now, its amazing how they did that, nobody was able to discover their secret till today.
i consider this the most famous things the ancient Egyptians did, specialy that nobody knew how to do it with all the technology we have that they didnt have 0.0001 of it, but still they were geniuses.
