I am asking this because many people think that sony is evil. otherwise, I love my laptop. by the way, I am a student!

depends on the way u use it.
i supose it is a notebook,,, and its basically for official,, or say professionals,,, and defintely not for students or computer geeks,,,
its a very good laptop and its more reliable,,,than ever now,, with the new intel core2duo processor,, it is like ,, i dont have an words,,,
anyways,,,,
its a good choice tha uhave made to buy one,

I sometimes go to pc mag to research before I make significant electronic or computer purchases.

get the HP .. it has a extra perfect reveal, extra USB ports, a much broader array or ports frequently, and centrino is a huge plus .. i could easily bypass with the HP ;] EDIT - dell laptops are rubbish imho ;]

aren't you satisfied with it ?! every day there is a better pc or laptop .. so you can't always have the best
