Does she have emotional or physical issues that you aren't aware of?
I have learned from experience, my own and that of friends & family, that sometimes there are underlying reasons why a woman just doesn't have the desire, strength, or the will to keep a house spotless.

Maybe you should try talking to her seriously. Marriages should be open and honest. Don't lecture her just tell her how much you would appreciate it if she would help you out alittle more around the house that way shw won't feel your just getting on her case. hope this helps. No matter what you do though don't clean up after her or do everything for her because then she is gonna think it's okay

Honestly, it sounds like she's bored. If she actually worked, she would have to do stuff on a consistent basis in order to keep life organized. When you don't work, you know in your mind, you'll eventually get to it. When you work, you have to get things done in a timely manner or no one will have dinner, clean towels, clothes, etc.... Also, you probably don't realize but you enable her to be lazy because you do the stuff that needs to be done when she doesn't do it. Start slowly and ask her to get a part-time job. Then eventually stop doing one thing at a time that you believe she should be doing to pull her weight.
Good Luck!

i visit admit that i'm a briefly lazy militia spouse. I in simple terms grew to develop right into a militia spouse some months in the past and that i understand the position i visit bypass to college and get an element time job. the in elementary words concern immediately might want to be we in elementary words have one automobile and my husbands paintings stations is about a 1/2 an hour faraway from our housing. we are even with the indisputable fact that saving up funds for him to get a automobile so i visit commence paintings and college. I say suitable for you having the ability to commence immediately. I moved on to a base in cali from michigan and that's been not elementary and there are fairly some lazies I've considered who're perpously lazy, yet there are also some like me who don't favor to be stuck in the homestead or be lazy, yet ought to attend till we may be able to manage to pay for yet another automobile so the laziness is going away. wish you militia existence is going properly :)

Hmmm, I wonder if you're my neighbour across the street or if your the poor guy that married my husband's ex wife. LOL, sorry dude....that must really suck to be in your shoes.
My husband had a wife like that and he divorced her lazy butt and now he's with me. I work and clean the house so what does that tell you. Maybe you oughta start looking to replace her.

Try to level with her. Explain to her that since you are providing for the family, the least she could do is clean and/or have a nice meal cooked for you. If she is not willing to change, I would ask for some time apart and start re evaluating the marriage. Or consider marriage counseling.

most likely there is a deeper root to this laziness. the word "depression" comes to mind. what other type of symptoms are you noticing.? judging by your description of her here, and if you are talking to her like this at home you could be adding to the depression. instead of attacking,,attempt to get her help..talk to her about speaking to a psychologist.

You can't change her, she has to do it herself.
I am wondering how your relationship is... Do you really respect each other????
Does she know you feel this way about her????
Have you tried to tell her you need her to help out??????
If she is unwilling, then it is time to hire someone to do it if you don't have the time . Have them come when she is at home....
If this doesn't get her moving, then maybe it is time you were moving......on ....

this is one of my pet peeves .......I'm a stay at home mom and keep a spotless house....there is really no excuse for it in my opinion......i would start controlling the money and only paying her for time worked or per chore or something...i know that's childish but she must be a little childish...no one has to tell me what i need to do in a day to earn my living...everyone has to pull their weight in or out of the home.
