I'm 26 years old and want to move to Chicago. The problem is that I still live in Cincy and can't move until I have a job in Chicago. The problem lies in the fact that it isn't easy to get a job in a different city when you aren't living there. Has anyone ever done this before and have some tips they can give me? I assume all the interviews would have to happen over the phone. I just don't know if companies are going to be willing to look at my resume/hire me because of this.

People relocate all the time. You'll have to set up interviews by phone, but you will have to go to Chicago for the actual interview.
So, set up your interviews a couple of hours apart. Remember it takes time to get around in Chicago because of traffic. Don't hesitate to send resumes and always call the company to make sure they got it. There are lots of job opportunities in Chicago.
figure out if you want to work in the city or the suburbs. I lived near the lake and I didn't even need a car. I had one but I relied on public transportation. Good luck.

properly I stay in Winnetka, that's on the north shore. Glencoe, Northfield, Wilmette, Highland Park, etc. are all great in case you are able to discover the money for it. Wilmette is on the brink of downtown and has some condos i think of. The north shore is likewise a great place to boost a family individuals so once you're thinking of youngsters at last i could easily seem into this section! Downtown Chi-city you're able to prefer to look into apartments alongside the lake!! those are the nicest and maximum costly. Lake element Tower is exceptionally staggering and genuine by using military Pier.
