Celebrities are normal people given every opportunity to do the wrong thing. When they do succumb to drugs, lust, infidelity, gluttony, alcohol, etc, they are caught on videotape and shown to the world. If normal people were faced with the open, no strings attached option to do drugs, drink, party, and be crazily promiscuous on a daily and hourly basis (as big celebrities are) and those acts were photographed and videotaped, we might not feel that different.

I would not agree with all your generalizations. True there are some true, genuine people among celebrities --and there are tons that will do almost anything to reach the top (whatever that means!). On a personal level, NO I would not do everything/anything to get there. You have to believe that there is something called "destiny" and it does exist -- while I can not prove it. Some people try very hard -- and never reach it during their life time and others die miserably (wealth wise) and they make it after their death -- examples abound: Mozart (died very young), Karl Max (died in poverty), many dutch painters, etc.
You make your own conclusion -- life is indeed very strange. I still have not figured it out!

It has been said by many people that we all have our price. I dont think many of us have ever been in the position to challenge what you are saying. I know no-one has ever reached a price that would make me do something that I wouldnt normally do, but then again, no-one has ever offered me a billion dollars either. I can say, most definitely no, there would be no money that could make me do something I wouldnt normally be able to do. But maybe that would change in different circumstances, eg, if my daughter needed an expensive operation and I had to raise the money quickly, then I may have to do something I didnt want to do in order to save her life, eg, prostition.
When someone comes to me and offers me a billion dollars to walk down the street naked, then maybe I would put aside my embarrassment for a little while to do it......a billion dollars could erase that memory very easily......lol. But until that happens, I dont think I could answer your question honestly because very few of us are put in that situation.

Do anything for fame & fortune? NO. Go on a tv reality show, YES.
I might do gross stuff for Fear Factor, Embarrass my family on Trading Spouses, Maybe Big Brother, but that's about it.

I cannot speak for anyone else, but you have never seen me on "Fear Factor", or "Survivor". I will not eat or digest the garbage those contestants do. So I do not have any dreams of being rich and/or famous. So my answer is YES. Most of the celebs are disgusting and I would not want their life style.

I think they are in the right place at the right time.
It would depend on what I would have to do.
I am open minded & would be willing to do most everything.
