Not many. We have a bias system, where jerrymandering means old borders are changed to benefit the party in power. We are principally a 2 party state, giving no choice to the electorate. Our country has a government made up of Neo-Cons, Catholics and Opus Dei. The cabinet has sold out every manifesto promise upon which it was elected, is borrowing £20billion p/a to fight a religious crusade against Islamm which the citizens never wanted, and made this clear before it began with the largest marches seen since the Poll Tax. The effect, backbench MPs voted for a war they didn't believe in because they might have the whip withdrawn, the PM and his cabinet lied to the country, and yet is Tony Blair stood in the Hague next to Slobodan Milosovic? No.
The sooner we reinstate the monarchy the better.

I think we could have ousted Bush in a "no confidence" vote a long way back. If that's the case, then, "God Save the Queen".

There is no such thing as a real democracy. In a real democracy, everybody could do anything they want to do. I think you know that just wouldn't work.
