I have pictures in my head about a film and cant think what it is or if its acouple of films in one. a groupe of small children enter a maze made out of trees they come across many different charactors on the way.and it was a sad ending its from the 80s and at the end all the charoctors turn to stone except the children who first enteed the maze my head is in a picke. many people say its labyrinth, but i just dont rember

Umm.. not quite. Labyrinth has David Bowie as the Jareth the Goblin King. Jennifer Connelly as Sarah and some kid as her baby brother Toby. Sarah wishes that the goblins would come take Toby away, and they do! She has to get to the castle at the center of the labyrinth in 13 hours or the Goblin King will keep her brother. She meets Hoggle, Ludo, and Sir Didymus along the way and has lots of exciting things happen. In the end she confronts Jareth and everything is okay. Wheeee....

That's not labyrinth. Labyrinth stars David Bowie and is about a little girl who goes to the goblin king to get her baby brother back. It has a happy ending.

it's not labyrinth, labryinth is with david bowee and is about a girl who goes to a labryinth to save her baby brother, the movie your thinking of sounds most like the lion the witch and the wardrobe, now i know that movie just came out, but there were earlier versions that were made, however, there was no real maze in that movie, but it is about children to go to a mythical land and people do turn to stone statues, hope it helps, at least you know its not labryinth now

kinda freaky film with David Bowie, it has strange creatures, a bit like something out of sesame street or whatever, has some scarily weird songs, a really stroppy girl, and the camera-man had a scary obsession with David Bowie's crotch!

a girl casts a spell on accident and the gremlins or whatever take away her little brother. then she goeas into the labyrinth to get him back.

she became the sacrifice instead of having her little brother be killed. i think that she did it unknowingly though. BTW i didn't read the book, i watched the movie.
