i can feel your pain...some docs say that migraines actually get better when you are pregnant...my BUTT!!!!
I had a migraine through 36 weeks of my pregnancy...i honestly could not do a thing because it would make the headache worse...
talk to your OB/GYN....he gave me some meds that worked for a bit but you have to use them sparingly otherwise its bad for the baby...next he sent me to a neurologist, they put me on Nadlol...its a blood pressure lowering drug...it worked wonders...i still use it to this day...if if you are a petite person, who gets easily light headed or already have lower blood pressure, then its not for you...it can make those things worse...
but you should have to suffer through your pregnancy with those and Tylenol doesnt really work...
I would get up in the morning and take a warm bath with the lights off and that usually helped me for some of the day...
good luck...

The headaches I've been getting this pregnancy (almost every day) are like any other headache I used to get. Nothing is "unique" about them. Some days they are worse than others, but for the most part they feel like normal headaches. I usually have them for most of the day when I do get them. Bloating was one of the first things I noticed (1 week after ovulation), but I assumed it meant my period was coming

Oh dear...i know just what you're going thru hunnie!!! i had a headache just about everyday when i was pregnant!!! i am used to taking Advil and then my doc told me i could not take them anymore, so she told me to take tylenol and i fould it didnt change or it made it worse...but i did read on the internet that is u drink gatorade it takes away a headach, i have never tried it, but i guess its worth a try huh? and i also read cutting a lime in half and rubbing it on your head works...and guess what, it did for me!! the lime i used was frozen, so i cut it in half, layed down and rubbed it over my forehead and when the cold started to fade away i rubbed it again and after a few times the headache was gone!! well i hope the gatorade or the lime works for you!!! best of luck !!!

Headaches can be present during pregnancy, you can pretty much only take tylenol. If this headache is combined with high blood pressure, you should go into to see your doctor. This can be an indicator of the startings of Preeclampsia.

When I was getting headaches in my first trimester I would take tylenol and I would also take a nap. Even if it is only for 2 hrs it helps to relax you.. Try taking a nap, if it is possible or put a cold wash cloth on your head as you lay down..
I also drink black coffee to get rid of the headache... It worked for me...

I have had frequent headaches in both my pregnancies and it is considered normal however tylenol always worked for me. But I remember my Ob/Gyn asking if they were really bad because there were several type of medications she could prescribe during pregnancy. You might wanna ask your dr, he/she might have some other options for you. Good luck and hang in there!!

maybe you should call your doctor and ask what would be safe to take for that. you know, being pregnant and all, just to be on the safe side.
take care
