First day in a long time that me and my date have a day off together. What to do? Doesn't have to be columbus day related, but holidays on Monday suck cause museums are closed ... and thats typically my first choice.
He's put me in charge of planning our day, I suck at it, help!
Wouldn't mind doing some light hiking in nearby suburbs... any ideas? Or have a lazy day somewhere...

wow the first answer ... I absolutely hate carriage rides and was hoping for a little bit more laid back and casaul for food, but not McD's .. ya know

well, don't really know what your into....but if you like parks Staten Island has plenty of them and you can ride the ferry over....lots of great places to eat too....or if your into it you could take the circle line around the city...you'd get a great view and its not that expensive...but its NYC there are a 100's of things you could do....good luck...if I think of anything else...I'll let you know

WHY DON'T YOU TAKE HER TO CUMBERLAND MOUNTAIN STATE PARK IN CROSSVILLE TN IF YOU REALLY WANT TO IMPRESS HER. YOU CAN PLAY GOLF, GO HIKING IN THE FORREST OR GO SWIMMING AND THEY HAVE A VERY NICE PLACE TO CHOW DOWN ALSO
