Okay you are asking for help and I'm going to do my best.

I realize you don't want to go to the doctor and have them examining your pelvic area. None of us like to have that done. But it does have to be done in order to help you.

Ask your mother if she can arrange an appointment for you with a female gynecologist. Tell the doctor that you are nervous and it's your first time. If she is a good doctor she should assure you, explain what she is doing and make you feel at ease.

Whatever is wrong is not going to get better by itself. It will not just go away either. The sooner you are diagnosed, the sooner they can help you and the better off you will be, okay?

Just remember thousands of women see a gynecologist every day and live through it. You can too.

All the best to you.

Honey you do need to see a gynecologist because they are the ones who can best to find out exactly what your problem is...what you are experiencing is indeed not normal but you also need to get over your shyness about your vaginal area...they are trained physicians and have seen a lot of women's genitals...it's just a normal day at the office for them so do not worry...in fact your pediatrician would most likely send you to a gynecologist! You need to get over your fear and see a gynecologist soon!
You will thank us for it later!
PS I agree you may be much more comfortable with a female gynecologist...good luck!
