1) Infidelity
2) Drugs or alcohol
3) Domestic Abuse
4) Financial Problems
5) People who get married before 25
6) People who let themselves go

Your missing the point of my question arthur. People who do the things that I listed are generally idiots. Basically you couls say im asking what would the divorce rate be if you didnt inlcue people who were stupid. Im not really concenred with the psychology of divorce.

And what do you think the marriage rate would be if these ways out didnt exist? We are a product of our own environment. WE give reasons for marriage as well we give reasons for ending one. But if people really didnt have a way out, the homicide rate would greatly increase. Maybe instead of getting rid of the reasons for a way out and gave a compatability test for those wishing to marry, would that decrease the divorce rate too as well as the need for needless marriages?

If you are including emotional abuse in either one or two, ZERO! There's not much else that would cause someone to leave as I see it.

Divorce rate would probably be zip.. almost all are why i got divorced.
