No honey that may just be the beginnings of your period. I too get a brown discharge now and then when I am just starting so it should be anytime now when you begin to menstruate fully. You need to keep some sanitary pads on hand for when you do and keep a couple in your purse. You will thank me for that later...

No nothing wrong at all, this may be the start of periods. but nothing to worry about. Make a note when it happened and see if it does again next month. the only discharge to worry about is if it smelIs a bit, and green isnt so clever either ! I was 15 when I started, and the last one in my class. My daughter is 13 and sooo glad she hasnt started yet as all her mates have ! try not so stress too much and hey mums always are great peeps to talk to xxxx

This can sometimes happen a few months before true menstruation occurs. Not really anything to worry about. The discharge was brown because the red blood cells in it had started to break down. In a month or two, your real period should start.

Don't worry! Brown discharge is what women get leading upto a period, and as the period ends. It sounds as if your body is getting ready to have periods! Give it a few months. And ask you Mom when she began her periods as this can run in families.

The same thing happened to me. I got a light period and it didnt come back for an entire year though this happened when I was 12-13 you really shouldnt worry until you get around 18-19. Once it comes its there to stay so enjoy your freedom.

it will happen eventually, periods are always a bit funny when they start, and I found them rather unpredictable during the first two years of starting

JUST GIVE IT A MONTH OR TWO. WHEN YOU FIRST START SOMETIMES YOU DON'T GO EVERY 28 DAYS, TAKES TIME TO GET ON SCHEDULE.

Nothing is wrong!!! I was afraid to tell my mamma that I got my period. Don't be afraid, it is normal.
Welcome to womanhood. Be careful!
