Your TEN...NO make-up but maybe look on some hair sytle sites, u could maybe find a cute "do" for you. You could straigten your hair with a hair straigtner, and with what you said about ur hair your gonna need a good 30-40 dollar straightener try remington wet2straight. Try shopping at Liimited too abercrombie (and wen you get a little older American Eagle) those are the "cool" stores. But if these people don't like you how you are, then they aren't true friends because, u shouldn't have to change yourself to fit in. My old friend changed herself to get popular and now shes into a lot of bad things!!
Good luck hun!

Hey, you shouldn't have to wear makeup at 10! I didn't until I was about 14. But if you really want to, start a little with mascara and no more. Don't overdo it, start slowly so people won't notice right away. You have to ease into big changes like wearing makeup. If you want nice clothes, talk to your mum, an older sister or cousin... she will surely be able to help you choose cooler clothes. As long as you want to change, they will be able to help you. I am sure that with time you will mature and be beautiful! When I was young, guys never gave me a chance, wait until you are older and guys realize that what is inside is more important. Guys at your age are little terrors anyways.

This is what I tell both my daughters, and you may not want to hear it but here goes. Who cares? You need to like yourself even if no one else is looking at you. Don't try to make other people happy, that will never happen, focus on doing the things that are good for you, like school, dance, twirling, cheerleading, music, singing and athletics. Both my girls are in dance, they both love athletics, one of them plays tennis, the other one is on the swim team, the oldest one was a cheerleader, but my youngest one could care less. I want them to be happy with themselves and not care so much about what other people think because you can never find true happiness that way. Besides having someone tell you how to dress and what to think only makes you a copy, why not be the original??

Its a good idea to start your wardrobe from basics and then work your way up to cool, funky pieces you want to try. Go to a places like Gap, Old Navy, Aeropostale, Hollister and A&F if you want to. As you gather up the basic stuff you need, find cool trendy pieces to go with your ourtfits to make them pop (like a bunch of different sized necklaces over a plain colored shirt). Shoes are also a really great way to look stylish!!
Good luck, and don't go crazy, you don't want the wrong kind of attention!

Wear the Honesty,Love,Kindness and Respect and the cloth/skins will be secondary to that.
For clothes,cloth/skins, whatever makes YOU happy is all in that first three things. Love yourself, and you can love others. Be kind to yourself, and then you can be kind to others, respect yourself, and others will respect you.
Character comes with age,it is painted on a persons face and no amount of sex paint nor mud slinging can ever erase or replace a persons character.

Personally,I just got out of a stage where I was completely obsessed with how I looked and dressed. Then I realized that no one cared......except me!If you really want their attention try shopping at some different stores and asking your mom if it would be ok if you wore make up to school.
good luck!
