My favorite part (and I LOVE this movir) is the moment when Forrest asks Jenny whether Little Forrest is like him, or is he smart. That moment always makes me cry.

I just watched this again this weekend. It is such an amazing movie. I think my favorite part is when he is with Jenny at her death and then at her graveside talking to her, basically summing up their life. I cannot well enough explain how much that touched me. I also never realized that for all the times I have watched the movie, Haley Joel Osment played little Forrest!

My favorite scene is when Forrest returns for Vietnam and is in Washington dong a rally. He's just gave a speech about what Vietnam was like (but you can't hear it because someone unplugged the micophones). Then you hear Jenny scream "Forrest!" and he screams "Jenny!". And they run out into the pond at Washington Monument and hug!

I love the scene where Jenny first lets Forrest know that her son is his son, too. The truth of the emotion that Tom Hanks communicates in that moment chokes me up every time I see it.

One of the best movies ever made.
One of my favorite scenes is after Jenny died and Forrest is at the tree where he buried her....Talking to her and saying how much he misses her. I don't care how many times I watch that scene, I have tears rolling down my face everytime.
This film is my favorite Tom Hanks films. Brilliant!

I was quite touched when Lt. Dan says to Forrest, "I never did thank you for saving my life." When he jumps into the water right afterwards, I initially thought that he was killing himself, but then Forrest mentions that Lt. Dan had made his peace with God. After all that Lt. Dan had been through, it was nice to know that he had found peace. It was also quite nice later on when we see him with his new legs and fiance at Forrest's wedding.

when Jenny is on the ledge debating her demise, and "Freebird" is playing in the background. I know that it twisted, but look at how her emotion parallels the crescendo of the music.
Very well timed acting/music, like watching Wizard of Oz and listening to Pink Floyd!

I love the end where he sits and waits for his son to come back from school.
