Aren't we all in this dilemma? We all have to decide between what we want and what others want from us. You must chose the answer yourself.Just think about what both options will lead to. That might help you decide what to chose!
Good luck!!!

Are you talking about your major or just 2 course choices for next semester? If you are choosing your major, I suggest you do what you are passionate about and choose the safe option that your parents want you to do as either a 2nd major or a minor.

On the other hand, if you are talking about making a choice between 2 courses for next semester, as long as you have your requirements taken care of, go for the class you will like more.

If you enjoy what your doing, you put everything you can into it.
Whats the point of taking the 'safe' route if you get bored to death on the way?
This is your life, and quite possibly your only shot, live for yourself, as you'll be the one who has to deal with the choices you make, not your parents.

If you want to be successful, follow the passion.

Safety is an illusion. At best, safety garuntees comfortable mediocrity, but when the buggy-whip industry fails, there's no one to enforce the garuntee.

Follow your passion. It's the key to success. If you go the other way, you're more likely to fail, not do as well as you could have or simply drop out.

Definitely take the one you like to do. You'll get a boring life doing what other people say, and overall, you'll just have a better time with the job you like more :)

Take both and one will be a back up career plan just incase the other one does not work out for you. Good luck.
