organic matter? Cell walls? The question isn't worded quite completely... it seems like its missing something. If you're looking for what they all have "in common", you're talking about their common organelles and DNA or RNA. The universal genetic code exists in all living organisms, so RNA and DNA, they all have mitochondria, they all have a cellular membrane or double membrane if its a bacteria, seperating the inside of the cell from whatever medium it is surrounded by, they all have rybosomes too.
