Read the words to the song. After each punctuation mark, close your eyes and try to picture what is going on in the song. Once you have a visual of what the song really means, it should be easier for you to remember the words.

one thing you can do is, memerize the rhythm of the song before you memorize the lyrics. it's easier if you do the lyrics last before the actual song. it's like a puzzle. you put it together peice by peice. if you have a recording of the two songs, try to make out the lyrics on your own before you look at the actual lyrics. you will be amazed at how close you will be to actual lyrics. even if you the words completely wrong but you'll be surprised at how close you are to the actual lyrics. learn the chorus first then, if there is a bridge, then that follows then the verses can be saved for last. That's how i learn a lot of songs.

get a copy of the two songs and play them over and over again and try to sing with them...soon enough the words will stick to your brain and you will know the words to the songs by heart in no time...

You could remember by writing down sentence per sentence and look at yourself in the mirror as you sing it. I bet you will have both songs dancing in head all the time then. Good Luck.

read each line of the song 3 times each to the end.
think of little key words that can help you remember the lines.
write parts your still having trouble with on your hands.
