Yes they should work but you need to make sure it is activated for international transactions and tell your bank you will be using the card in Jamaica. Sure,but they pay in J$,am apart of bank of America,and a federal banking institution,both of them work.
But as said don't look for US currency.Jam,dollar peg at,US $64.00to1J$=US100=JA$6400.00,may get less as bank need to make a profit.
