That all depends on what stage she is in right now...does she walk, crawl....
Push toys that do not tip over are great because they will give her stability when trying to walk
If she is still in an infant carseat, she will need a convertible carseat.
Shoes, I suggest Cruising shoes By Stride Rite
Sippy cups(if you will be using them)
Plastic dishes(shatter proof!)
Toddler spoons(and fork if u choose)
Toys that are age appropriate
Books(toddler books, board books)
I am sure she will need new clothes since they grow soooo fast
Maybe a play house for in or outside(they are kind of pricey)
Ride on toys
Gates for the doorways and especially stairways!
Toddler proofing things now that she will be walking and able to reach more(outlet covers, stove guard, cabinet locks, etc...)
Maybe set up a playroom where she can play close by you.
Some of these thinks are totally optional(toys, playroom, etc...), as she gets bigger and reaches new milestones you will discover more and more things you need. Good luck and great planning ahead!!

My daughter has enjoyed the simple toys the most. Stacking cups and other things like that. She has had many flashy exciting talking toys but always comes back to the basics after a while. She's almost two now and likes playing with dolls, sorting, stacking, and putting things in and out of purses etc. For her first birthday I bought her a Fisher Price Chatter Telephone ride on that she enjoyed pushing last year and likes to ride on this year.
Hope this helps!

I'm not a parent, but I've been TTC, so I've been reading up on parenting. I think what I would do personally is go to all the baby store websites you can think of (Babies R Us, Toys R Us, Target, Walmart, etc) and look at baby items under age categories. They'll have clothing, toys, games, accessories for each age group listed. Hope that helps! Good luck! Send some baby dust my way too :)

Well my son liked cd players, cameras (adult not toys) oh, definately get her one of those power wheels cadillacs...my son loved his and still does, I got him it for his first bday and he has played with it everyday since!
They have a pink one, but the black looks cooler!
My son never really played with baby toys much, he liked all the things he shouldnt have!
A wagon is a good thing to get as well, any one of those water toys (like the water sets with sand) you could get barbies, just take away away anything she could swallow.
LOTS of stuffed toys for imaginary play!

Lots of fruits, vegetables, mixed grains and meats, 2% milk. Avoid empty calories with juices and water. If not already, make sure to get into a good habit of brushing teeth.
