What are the laws for having a radar detector in your car in arizona and california?

Does anyone know where I can find out info about the laws regarding them?

I know you have to legally have the x band to keep it legal, if you only have the K and Ka bands only, that is illegal right?

Radar detectors are useless in most places now, so I'm not sure why you're concerned about the laws.

- Radar detectors are useless against laser devices.
- They are useless for helicopter speed traps
- They are useless for "instant-on" guns

In fact, my local cops can tell your speed within 2-3 mph without the gun due to experience. When they pull the trigger, it's just for show... you're already gonna get the ticket.

the line safe practices bill it quite is nearing the right of its passage through Parliament seeks to outlaw radar and laser jamming gadgets. GPS standalone p.c. digital camera detector instruments aren't any further affected - they stay legal. the reason of banning the radar/laser jammers is elementary: they doubtlessly enable a motorist to intervene with the operation of a p.c. digital camera and render it inactive, allowing the motorist to rigidity at illegally intense speeds undetected. Please, isn't it a lot less complicated, safer and less expensive in simple terms to maintain to the speed reduce?
