~~~Folex! Better than any TV product,,,,you should be able to get it at your local hardwear store. My husband came home from work,,,walked on our cream color carpet,,,two big greasy shoe stains,,,He went to the hardwear store and came home with the bottle of Folex that I never heard of,,,,,,I swear right before my eyes,,,the grease marks vanished! Its been around for years,,,one of those good ol products that got lost along the way of all the "screaming at you commercials that claim they can clean anything,,,,,,,, FOLEX !
Really depends on what kind of grease it is,, ..... if its oily grease like from a car or from shoes then i would use Dawn liguid dish soap.. and wet the carpet well and let it soak in the dawn!! then u can usually clean it with a shampoo cleaner or even try some resolve>>>
Try oxy clean....Then dishsoap because it has a degreaser in it and clothes soap does too. Once you dab it in towards the middle of the stain , not outward you may have to rinse several times to get the soap residue out. Try the shampoo full strength with oxyclean. Fabric softener with water will return soft texture. I always add some fabric softener to my shampooer to sofetn the carpet and repel stains. Works great.
At Wal-Mart, there is a product called B-Gone. It gets rid almost anything. It brought the red kool aid stain out of my carpet that had been there for 6 months or longer. Just follow the directions and it should come out.
The best way. Same thing that mechanics use to clean their hands.
Orange gunk hand cleaner. Buy it anywhere.
dab on stain-use brush to work it in. Then use damp cloth to lift out stain and cleaner. works on almost all stains. grease-paint-blood ect.
You can vaccum when done....
LUCK>
EXIT soap gets rid of grease, I have often used it on my clothes after getting them covered in grease in my workshop. I have tried heaps of other product but this one is the best by far and cheap too!
try scrubbing it with Barbasol shaving cream - leaving it sit over night and rinsing. It's an old remedy. May work depending on the severity of the stain.
you have to find a cleaner that is meant to break down petroleum waste.
There are 2 kinds of waste, organic and petroleum some cleaners attack organic (food, bug grime, blood etc) others attack petroleum (grease, oil, etc) and break it down
