I am looking for a verse written by Che Guevara. I know the English translation which boils down to this.
It is but a heart
Hold it in your hand
and it will enlighten the world
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. And please don't bash the man, I'm just looking for a translation

This is the original text in Spanish.

"Toma, es sólo un corazón
tenlo en tu mano
y cuando llegue el día,
abre tu mano para que el Sol lo caliente..."

The verse you are looking for was not, in fact, written by Che Guevara, but by his comrade Julio Roberto Cáceres Valle (El Patojo) to a lady friend in Cuba. He had left behind him on his death a notebook in which it was written. Here is the final stanza:

Toma, es sólo un corazón
Tenlo en tu mano
Y cuando llegue el día,
Abre tu mano para que el sol lo caliente...

I'm not sure about this phrase.

But there's another one Che Guevera uttered before he was executed by the Bolivian military - "Hasta la siempre victoria" ("Till eternal victory)
