You can't. Sorry, it is not available for private citizens to just buy and take it to the doctor. There is only a certain amount of the flu vaccine made every year and it is determined WAY ahead of time who gets it, when, and how much.

Hey there,
Let get some things straight here....firstly, its not the Governments fault...they ordered the vaccinations but the company that makes them has had problems...hence the whole of Europe has been delayed! Now you cant just get anyone to make these vaccines as then there would be problems with contamination etc and you would be the first to complain about that too!
Its certainly not the doctors fault either...they get given a set number of vaccinations and they have to prioritise these to the most needy first! Theres no point in pointing the finger and always blaming other people for issues like this...in this case, you will have to wait till your doctor notifies you...i know its not ideal but lets face facts here, the flu vaccines been around for a few years, asthmas been around for many more than that and millions of people havnt died of the flu!! all it does is reducs your risk of getting a bad strain...it doesnt prevent you getting the flu completely! Hope this clarifies a few issues....with the above posters and not necessarily the original question writer!

To answer the initial question...i dont think you are able to buy it privately due to stock levels.

Do NOT get vaccinated.

A vaccinated person is MORE likely to get a disease than a non-vaccinated person. The whole theory of vaccination is flawed. It causes a weakening of the immune system thus making those who are innoculated more susceptible to disease.
There are so many awful side effects to vaccination that it should be considered extremely dangerous.
Just sit back and think for a while.
Is there any sense in injecting a disease directly into the bloodstream.
We have been subjected to an awful mind control program to enable the drug manufacturers to make a fortune.

If you go to the vaccination liberation web page, at
http://www.vaclib.org/exemption.htm
You will find all the forms necessary to provide exemption for your child.

Unfortunately for you we have been told to prioritise patients however your nan should be a priority because of her age if your mum is over 65 she is also entitled to a flu vacc. In some areas there are shortages and if their surgery haven't received enough stock again there isn't much you can do.
I have heard that some branches of superdrug are selling flu vacc but I do not know how you would get this administered

I'm asthmatic too. I'm booked with my GP for 28th October, that's the soonest they'll have the vaccine in.

They said there's been a problem with making the new vaccine.

My daughter and a few others say they only ever get flu on the years they get the jab!!!

not possible...you cant just buy Flu vaccines from hospitals, or pharmacutical companies...
if they were truly at risk, the doctor would tell you that the are high risk, then they would get the flu shot before all the healthy people...

i have lived in many states and they always take the older people who have chronic illnesses, or chronic respiratory illnesses first...if they doctor said they can wait, then they can wait...te doctor is educated enough to give you a valid answer.

I'm diabetic and get the vaccine every year. a lot of this talk about the flu vaccine is just scare mongering. There is no shortage where I live (N.Ireland). If you're having serious problems getting it, go to your local hosital where yoy will be able to acess it.

In the States drug store chains like CVS, Osco, and Walgreens offer these injections on a scheduled basis. We can also get them at hospital departments that offer immunization for international travel.

Ive never heard of anyone getting the vaccine privately. Its against the law. You need to speak to a doc about it.

That's strange I have ashtma and I get the shot right when I go in and say I want the shot. I'm not sure why they are telling you that. People with ashtma have priority.
