do you feel that society chnaged over the years and today has grown more or less to except homosexuality, or do you think this subject will always be and remain very controversial and forever many people are going to see you in negative light?
did you personally ever suffered from discrimination or from homophobic treatment?
to speak for myself i don't have anything against gay people.
the oppposite, i find myself fascinated by the subject beyond all logical reason, and i can't say why.

That is a good question.
I agree society has changed more or less accepting- because they government and some people care enough.
Still all thosr teenagers and biggots who really scare me who hate.
The truth is you are right there will always be biggots - that is a sad fact not that we cant make it even better. It's impossible to touch everything out there.
I didnt suffer it, people who do are more vulnerbale and less confident sometimes because they are "easy targets". But they dont deserve it. Men who are feminine looking. GIrls who dont dress like what some people say is normal or right.
People who dont understand people choose to not respect them and even laugh at them; make themselves look foolish.
Forever ALOT can be done make things in a positive light that means being strong and being a leader. So forever no not overall, but some.
You are lucky you are not rascist, and you are open minded. You see why you are curious and ask questions because you want to grow and learn more and be well spoken.
I guess you might wonder why you are fascinated it is because you are very curious. Let me say there is nothing wrong with that.
To help yourself, go hear what people have to say, all types of people do things for different reasons. In order to prove something to yourself find scientific studies remind or will show you biology signs people are attracted to the same sex. So they cant help it- you know that.
You find it fascinating because YOU WANT TO UNDERSTAND. Just remember that when you explore something which doesnt make sence. Dont say its logical reason. You are open minded- nothing worth more than that.

I think people are generally becoming more accepting towards the gay community. As much as I don't like stereotypes that the media portrays, shows like Will and Grace help improve the image and get rid of some of the social stigma. Funny though that some people think it's cool to have a gay friend now. Oh well, I think as time progresses and the whole gay rights thing is over society will eventually accept us.

Of course it's changed and for the better. Despite the vocal few, homosexuality is accepted far better than it has been in the past. I do think it will remain controversial for quite a while yet, but not because of the sexuality itself, the issue is actually coming to a head because of the power struggle created by the Dominionists.
To them, they believe that it is their "divine right" to trample on the rights of not only homosexuals, but everyone else who disagrees with them. They try to vote and press discrimination into law, they try to demean and denigrate anyone and everyone who disagrees with their ideas.
Yes I have been subject to homophobic treatment in the past, from losing jobs to the more open attacks against myself as well as my property(that's why I now Carry a Gun).

well, things have improved loads for the gay community, but there is still a long way to go. I want to be able to greet a gf on the mouth like straight people do, i want to hold hands in public and not be stared at... especially by silly men...

As long as we have the "Religious Right" (along with the other groups) out there, we will NEVER be accepted.
