aww.. Boo Boo Bear how cute. Dad. She is a young women now. She's growing up. she's not 5 years old anymore. She has a reputation to up hold. Her friends would probably tease her a lot of you continued calling her that. She has taken a huge step from childhood. Give her respect. But still keep things strict! She still is your child and under your roof.
My mom use to call me baby and I hated it. Finally when she could call me baby I would call her something she didn't like. She got the picture.

Sounds like your daughter has or is growning up. Respect her wishes, and don't call her Boo Boo Bear. Ask her if you can call her another name, let her pick it out just be safe. Good luck!

Unfortunatley nicknames tend to stick, ask her if it is all right to only call her that in private, if not find another term of endearment.( They can be so emotional at this age, dont want to alienate her) I have a 16 yr old son named Bruce who has recently informed all concerned that He Is Bruce ( not Brucie, Not Booboo) but Bruce ( shameless movie reference "they Call me Bruce") Go with whatever makes her happy, it is sooooooooo hard to see them grow up isnt it??????????? And I didnt even trash you a little.

Your probably doing it in public or in front of her friends. If so she maybe feels embarrassed by it.
See if she doesn't mind if you call her by that pet name in private like at home, if she doesn't than its ok.
However if she does your just gonna have to phase it out, and call her by her name. She is grown up ya know.
Just save the memories, and use the "boo boo bear" on special occassions, like birthdays and christmas.

Keep it up -- especially in front of her friends.
Encourage others to call her Boo Boo Bear.
While she is still a minor and under your control -- have her name legally changed to "Boo Boo Bear."
Someday she will thank you.

Unless her name really IS "Boo Boo Bear", you can always call her by her name.

Don't feel bad, man, My daughter does the same thing. Your little girl is growing up, that's a rough thing to let go of.... Brace yourself, take a deep breath .... And let go. She knows she'll always be your little girl, she just needs room to grow, dad. Just try not to do it in public especially. Might still get away with it when y'all are at home.

Your daughter will have to get immune to it. After you nick-name your kids, its hard to not call them by that nick-name.. even when they are grown up..
