Technically yes; a temporary internet file is stored on your physical hard drive. Some browsers choose to let the page stay on your computer (stored in the cache and temporary file storage) while others remove them (for security purposes). If the site was now downloaded on your computer it will have to be redownloaded everytime, which is why we have a cache.

YES YOU ARE no matter what anyone else may tell u because to be able to view the text, images, and other types of files that make up a particular webpage they have to be transferred from the server that stores the page to your computer first. downloading doesnt just mean transferring programs, videos, or music onto ur computer even when u view ordinary websites in a way you have downloaded the site (even though you might not store the site that uv viewed) so the bottom line is yes u are downloading the website

You are not downloading the website itself -- you are just visiting it at its address on the information highway, somewhere in cyberspace -- but your computer may be receiving cookies from the site; also, your browser will cache the page(s) and record your visit in its History.

That's why you should always remember to dump your brower's cache and clear your browser's History before you log off the Internet -- and if you are using a computer other thsn you very own, delete the cookies too~{{;>}~!!!
