yeah I want to know why does emule program when you are on there and you want the file it take to long to download like it said waiting how long do I have to wait for it to start download..write back anyone

emule is p2p software - which basically means that you are connecting with either a global share server OR directly with another user's machine.

There are a number of factors which determine the speed of the download, but normally its the "queuing system" that slows things down the most (ie a server or a user only allows so many connections at a time and therefore you are forced to queue).

Also a file will not necessarily be downloaded from ONE server or user...usually at least a dozen...so you are waiting on multiple queuing systems all over the world.

All that said - if you're using emule, it is likely that you are trying to illegally download either copyrighted software, music or movies...or porn...so I really wouldn't complain too loudly if I were you.

That's because the RIAA and FBI have to both register you in their systems before the download starts. And then it takes so long because they are reading the information on your hard drive and tracking your internet access to see what you have been up to.

YOU SHOULD SWITCH TO UTORRENT. IT'S A LOT FASTER
