I was with an abusive boyfriend, and before him, I had never had any injuries,I had never even been to the hospital for myself, until I was with him at 20 years old.
He punched me on one side of my face that left my eye swollen shut for almost three weeks, with a blue and purple puzzle piece bruise on one entire side of my face, plus that side of my face was so swollen I looked like Cher's son in that movie The Mask, from many years ago (he had a facial deformity). It was bad I didn't look like myself for more than a month.
Another time he broke into my house, while I was a work, and was waiting on me in the dark in my living room, after his failes attempt at a reconciliation, he threw a large glass ashtray at me from across the room (luckily he missed!), but he then threw like a glass pipe bong thing at me ( he used to smoke weed constantly, out of it!). It caught me in the forehead, rendering me unconcious with blood spewing, I ended up being rushed to the hospital in an ambulance, the cut was really deep so I had many stitches, a concussion, and a skull fracture. The only thing that saved me was that his friend happened to come by, and called 911, and fought with him to get away from me, because after I came to, he was telling me that I deserved it and that I wasn't going anywhere, even though he had already used like a whole roll of paper towels on the blood. If it wasn't for his friend helping me, I don't know if I would be here!
I know that hearing this is terrible, but I think all girls should hear it, and pay attention to it! A push or a slap, is a big deal because that is how domestic violence starts. And a restaining order is just a piece of paper it does nothing to stop the truly deranged, and from my experience to say that the police and judicial system aren't **** would be an understatement! However if he ever comes in contact with me again he will be shot by me, and malled by my dogs, and it will be legal, because of the numerous reports against him. I feel sorry for his current girl because they now have a kid, he still tries to get close to me, but he is afraid of my fiance and my family, and he knows that even a hello will be the last words that he has the vocal cords to speak with! The sooner you get out, the easier it is. True psychos like him will try and cut of all of your outside contact, especially with your family!

When I was in like 4th grade, I had glasses. I live near a golf course. I went sledding with some of my friends that live around the corner from me. I brought a sled but it didn't work. So I used their sled. They had one of those fast tubes. I was laying on it on my stomach. And my friend was on top of me while we were sledding down the hill. I couldn't see because the snow was going in my eyes. I hit a tree and I was knocked out. My left eye was black and blue. But thankfully I had left my glasses at my house. This is the worst and only injury I have ever had.

My wife nail gunned my left foot to the floor. Still not sure why. The memory is a bit hazy due to the shock, pain, and most of a 12 pack. Mostly what I remember is running around in circles until I threw up.

two disks in my back car hit us from behind. 248 stitches in neck, face, and head. and i broke my tailbone 3 times. by the way all these accidents happened on Friday the 13's now i don't leave the house on Friday the 13th. and even on the 13th of the month friday or not, better safe than sorry. oh i almost forgot 3 concussions

does a spider bite count...
I was bitten by a brown recluse spider on my leg,near the calf,the affected area swelled up around my knee and calf bigger then a soft ball, and man I was in serous pain,I could not walk,my leg turned black and blue,it scared me so bad, I had to go to the hospital. to this day I got an ugly scar from the spider bit.

A 2nd degree burn on my hand. That hurt for a long time and a lot of fluid came out.

I fell off a ladder and cracked my head open. Either that or when I burned my thigh really badly with boiling water.
