6. Pick up prescriptions when they are ill.
7. Bring small surprise presents: as plate of cookies, an "I appreciate you" card; an inexpensive gift card; a trip to see a shut-in friend

1) Go for a visit, many are very lonely.
2) Take them out shopping for their groceries etc.
3) Take then to their appointments:Dr.'s, Hair etc.
4) Offer to help them with their housework if they are still at home.
5) Take them a surprise meal and dessert.
