It could be heartburn, but anytime you cannot explain the pain in your chest you should see a doctor. The doctor can tell you if it is a cardiac related problem or if it is heartburn. By the way, frequent hearburn is bad for you too, so even if that is what it is, you may still need medication to deal with it.

And just in case you are stubborn like my ex-boyfriend, let me be blunt - GO SEE A DOCTOR!

Hard to tell from here with so little information. Let's see, there's always the possibility of a heart attack, and then it could be gas or heartburn. Oh, fibromyalgia will cause chest pains, too. Dude, there are dozens of possibilities, why don't you just go to a doctor and find out from him. Nobody here is going to be able to diagnose you with such weak information.

If you're not afraid of a heart attack, then it might be acid reflux. Take a zantac to see if it goes away. Sometimes tums work but not for hours and hours like the zantac or pepcid do.

Please check with your physician, it maybe something serious. Health is one of the most important things in life.

In the Beginning God created heavens and earth.
God gives you air to breathe and sunshine to enjoy.
God gives you water to drink and food to eat.
God gives you a wonderful body and sound mind, to live.
God loves you, and you are precious to Him.
Son of God died on the Cross to save us from condemnation.
Jesus’ love is boundless and everlasting.
We have the hope of Heaven through Jesus.
Life therefore has fantastic and glorious future!
(Digestion of above can even prevent depression and suicide attempt.)
