Hi im on cerazette, and they warned me i could have some spotting as cerazette does do this, i for one dont have spotting only at the time of the month when i should have a bleed, i dont have a full period i have spotting. But its safe for her to be spotting. If she was bleeding continously then there would be something wrong, but it is known to do this. If she doesnt like the idea of spotting then maybe she should change it. But the pill is still safe and this kind of means it is working. It might settle down after a few months. She would of got 3 months supply anyway because it is the first time she has taken it, so she will be going back soon so she can tell the nurse. If she is worried then she should go and see a nurse sooner. But there is nothing to be worried about unless she is in pain of course and bleeding heavily

I had to provide up taking cerazette reason i replaced into having a brilliant heavy era each and every 2 weeks. My GP suggested that cerazette does not regulate your era like the mixed pill, so some human beings have consistent bleeds, some sporadic bleeds and a few no bleeds in any respect. I now have the implant and that's super, had a million gentle era in 5 weeks. desire this facilitates

I take Cerazette. It is normal. Her GP should have told her that when they gave her the pill like mine did. There is also a leaflet that comes with the pack which also explains it. If she isn't happy with it she should go to her GP and ask for a different pill.

Your girlfriend should see her doctor.
Also, you should have been using condoms, or other contraceptives, for the first month anyway alongside the pill. The pill has to build up protection in a woman's system
