My g/f and I are arguing over who has the largest fan base football or nascar?

nascar is the most popular sport in the country. It hurts me to say it because I love football more than almost anything.

Good question! I tend to think that Nascar has a larger fan base. Most tracks can seat more fans than football fields can.

Football, most (if not all) NASCAR fans are football fans but not near as many football fans (percentage wise) watch NASCAR...

how many football stadiums hold 250thousand people?the largest in ncaa is tennessee i think with about 80thousand seats.every track nextel cup races at holds atleast 60thousand people most over 100thousand.
race car driver come from so many differant places also which leads people from all over to tune into the races.
nascar is also the most watched sport in the united states(i think)

i watch both but when football come on id rather watch football over nascar. thats what im what im whatching right now.
