This number doesn't have a really obvious factorization, I get:

Each horizontal line, vertical column, and 3 by 3 box is suposed to contain the numbers from 1 to 9.

Do you mean, starting from a blank 9x9 grid, how many different possible valid sudokus can you create?

There is usually only one answer to a sudoku puzzle, as the filled-in answers only allow for one combination.
