HEY! I was a teenager of the 70s! I wish we could go BACK to that era! I don't happen to think it was a ridiculous decade. Granted, there are things that I would do differently, but all in all it wasn't all that bad. The 80s were OK, too, but there was nothing wrong with the 70s.

Sadly the 70's signaled the end of the 60's and what a magical decade that was. I was fortunate to be aged 13 in 1960 so the 60's and I grew up together. It was a super time to be a teenager and young adult, the music, the clothes, the general attitudes were all innovative and new. Great time. Unfortunately the 70's followed. Clothes became ridiculous, remember hi-soled shoes, loons and multi-coloured pullovers, music was all glam rock and attitudes 'couldn't care less'.

I believe cdnfan, i've got faith Ovechkin would desire to, yet Stamkos in all probability will. gamers are greater and speedier than they have been and as a result the protecting interest has stepped up making it that plenty harder to tug off a 70+ or consistent with probability a 60+ purpose season. that's going to take a guy like Stamkos to do it....even consistent with probability this season? stay tuned.

Transitional times they were. Personally I was thinking of what I was gonna do after high school. Not for all of it mind you just the middle of it. I graduated in 76. The music was okay but it exploded in the 80's. And it also had dare I say it disco.

We were wishing the war in Nam would be over. That is the main thing. The eighties were a blurr because my kids were growing up. I would go back to the late 70's in a heartbeat.
