How would you evaluate both theories based on the energetic mechanism of the Universe?

I don't believe a) is stated correctly. However in gist it is a) that I accept. Brito's theory is more metaphysical than physical.

Both thoeries have insightful perspectives, although differing. The actual theory and derivation behind each must be scrutinzed before we can arrive at a conclusion. Also proofs and counter-proofs must be studied, as well as any form of evidence. But obn the surface I'm more partial to theory (a)
