my car wont start! when i tried to use the remote to unlock the door, no response, my power windows go up and down, the horn works fine, lights come on, my radio has no power, on the panel it say's security. is this some security setting? what can i do to start my car? please help!

Get in the car, turn the key to the run position, turn off the radio, roll down a window so you can get back in if something goes wrong, turn the key off then back on and wait about 20 minutes. Then turn the key off, then turn it on and see if it will start. This will reset some GM security systems.

For some reason the factory security system has disabled the engine. Some of them require dealership reprogramming while others may be merely a fuse in the communication bus.
There are two areas for fuses here, one on each end of the dashboard (check them all) and possibly a MAXI fuse under the hood.
If you know someone with a code reader that can get to your car, read the codes and then go here for some help, or get into the repair manual.-------->
