Nope do it all the time, then i put them in the dryer right after, they get knocked around but not to be funny they kinda absorb the shock. Ive done it 4x so far and my shoes are perfectly fine. Just wash them by themselves.

No it is fine. Just put them in a pillow case before washing and air dry if possible. There aren't many sneakers that won't hold up in the washer. Put them on the gentle cycle on the washer.
