My wife and I, both a young 70 years old are going to Orland/Disney Jan 13 to Jan20 2007. We will be driving so we wont need airfare. Does anyone know of a nice clean reasonable hotel and or a Good place to buy Disney tickets. Even a combo package if one is available. I thank you in advance for any help from everyone

While I can't off the top of my head give you a specific hotel name, you need to know that there are MANY (established chain-type, reasonably priced, clean, safe) hotels (such as Holiday Inn, Days Inn) very close to Disney World. These hotels also offer Disney tickets in special combinations at very good prices available at the reception. The hotels also have a shuttle bus system to and from the Magic Kingdom usually included in the price of your room.
You really can get all you need starting at your hotel reception, so I'd stay away from these roadside "booths" plastered with posters offering special Disney deals. In our experience the hotel was always a better buy.
No one is too old for Disney World ( no, I don't work for them!)! We went when our daughter was 11-12 (we were just 50!) and it's hard to say who had more fun!
Have a GREAT time!
P.S. We started with Epcot. It was a gas!

The best way to buy Disney tickets is once you get there I think, you can drive up and down the main drags and there are a lot of booths where tickets are sold, exactly as you want them- which Parks, with Parkhopper option or not... unless of course you also want to stay at the themed disney resorts, then you can buy a package deal in advance from the Disney website, for example.
As far as hotels otherwise, there are lots of none Disney hotels, very cheap ones, as well as all the chains -Hilton, Sheraton and so on and many of them have free shuttles to all the Disney Parks every half an hour or so.

I would look on www.tripadvisor.com for what suits you best.

I would go to the Disney website. You can book a resort right on the Disney property and you can purchase admission tickets. Also, if you have a membership to AAA you can purchase through them. Another option for tickets is at a Disney Store. There is usually one in the malls.

If you stay at a Disney resort, parking is free.

Have a great time (I know you will)

Go to the Disney website, you can book hotel rooms and purchase tickets online. They do have hotels that are reasonably priced and offer buses to take you to the parks.

A Disney park fee ticket with the park hopper selection is barely for the 4 Disney topic parks. not for usual or Sea international. in case you prefer to circulate to a Disney water park you ought to upload on the Water park selection. I purely purchase WDW tickets from Disney direct. At considered one of their shops or on the Disney information superhighway internet site. check out internet site under
