Why can't conservatives tell the difference between "your" and "you're"?
Someone once said that liberals dream of a world that will never be, while conservatives wish for a world that NEVER WAS. I am proud to be what so many assume to be a "liberal", although I would put myself much farther to the left.
The liberals do not make me think that I am on another planet, but the conservatives often leave me with the queasy feeling that I am in another time and place, say, Berlin in the 1930s.

Living in a country where church and state get blurred, leaders put their religion on citizens as if they lived in some other part of the world, and we spend in the billions DAILY in Iraq, I'm not what you'd call ... content. And rebulicans are supposed to be about small government, but they are spending so much that my marginal tax rate is going to be 75% in 20 years. Either that or my parents will be living in squalor. Or both.
More than that, these criminals that run our legislative branch, executive branch, and are polluting our judicial branch, are more all about oil and money than those foreigners we murder in the press (and sometimes in real life). Facts back these things up. They back all of this up.
I'm very tolerant, I think it is okay that George Bush's god told him that fighting a war in Iraq is the right, moral thing to do. I'm just a bit worried he gets to make that decision for 290 million of us.
And you right wingers are going to go right to the anti-American thing. Let me save you the trouble. First, I'm a republican. Second, the republican ideal is small government and a SELF GOVERNING people, not stripping privacy, putting values on others, and bankrupting a once great country. Third, when I hear things like I hear myself spewing right now, I think, "Now that's an American."
So what do I think? I think I'm gonna give those aliens a listen.
Ps I've gotta go. I'm writing this from rehab and three congressmen just asked for a little orgy (and they snuck in some booze).

yes, you feel that way, because antyone who is still conservative is living on another planet. a planet of denial, ignorance, greed and stupidity. Anyone who would still support the Bush administration now after all that has happened belongs on another planet.
