Anyone name the artist and song?

Question

About 20 years ago a young lady played me an album.
I wasnt the most popular of bands/ artists and all i can remmeber is 2 lines of the lyrics.
They are " I COME FROM THE THIRD PLANET, MY SKY IS BLUE"
They werent so much sung but spoken in a android/ alien sort of voice.
Anyone have any idea

we are talking 20 years ago.
its not blink 182 or bowie.
Additional lyrics are "ALL AROUND ME IS CONFUSION , I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO"

I've just spent 20 minutes searching Lyric website and it seems that your song never existed!
None of them (I searching 8 diffrerent sites) have the song you want!

I can't remember the album but it sounds like Laurie Anderson to me. She had a huge one off hit with a track called "Superman" in the early 80's, the enterity of the lyrics were spoken in an electronicly distorted voice. A bit like one of Dr Who's daleks but much more feminine. She's actually a multi media artist and your more likely to find out about her in an Art Gallery than a Music store.

Crikey! This ones a bit off the wall, can't find any thing on Google. Don't recognise it at all and 20 years ago I was listening to some offbeat stuff. Sorry can't help

I believe it is either Devo or Gary Newman. I tried searching for the lyrics myself and couldn't pinpoint them so I'm sending you two sites which have most of Devo and Gary Newman's lyrics on them. You should find your there -- good luck!
