I like Peace Makers. That is the right track, but I believe we can do better. Please, I need your best thinking on this one. I do agree that the name needs to be recognisable globally. Consider Latin, Sanskrit, or Aramaic?

Allies of Humanity
Hands of Humanity
Aide Alliance

I don't know if thats the type of thing you were looking for. You could find a couple of words that relate to your organization and make an acronym out of the words like:
PETA= People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals...

Just as an example (even though it might not be a good one) you could have one like:

Volunteer
for the
Alliance
of
Humanity =VAH's

Worker for the Alliance of Humanity: WAH's

I do not know enough about your organization to come up with too much, and I know these probably aren't of any help....but if it is any concelation I wish you and your organization the best.

How about the ESPERANTO word for peace? After all, Esperanto was meant to become the overall language, based on many different languages in this world. That would be PACO.

And make that stand for something like:

- Peace And Co-operation Overall
- Peaceful Alternatives Center One
- Peace And Community Objectives

etc....... you fill it in

Good luck on your initiative!

(I worked on peace initiatives in East Timor for many years and only have been home since January. I miss the scene!)

Have you checked this website? Many languages for translations or expressions:
