In English/Advanced Comp class we were to pick a classic novel to do a report over. Lorna Doone was about the only one left and the teacher said it was a good one. Great I thought.. Well... I can't get into it, I don't understand it I guess. I have went to google, dogpile, ask... all of those trying to find cliff notes. Cliffnotes.com, smartnotes.com, ect.. and haven't had luck. Everyone else has been able to type in their book and get the cliff notes and they have their report ready to be turned in.. I can't afford to not turn in my report on time.. Can anyone help?

It's basically a romance set in Devon, England where a family of outlaws, the Doones, begin to plague the land. Young John Ridd, the hero, is only twelve when the book opens and grows up with the threat of the Doones who have begun to burn farms, attack men and carry off women. At fourteen, John explores the some rivers and waters, and meets a little girl with beautiful dark eyes and a primrose in her hair. It is Lorna Doone, who is cruelly treated by her family. John grows up to be a man of great stature and power and falls in love with Lorna who he must save from the Doones and nature itself in a fierce blizzard. It is a near-tragic romance that includes certain historical figures, including Judge Jeffreys of Bloody Assizes infamy and the Doones themselves who are based on actual historical people.

First, your study habits and lack of attention to an important assignment, call into question whether or not you even belong in an English/Advanced Comp class. And, "I have WENT"???? Where in the world did you ever learn your language skills?

Advice from an English Honors teacher of many years: get a book and read it. Use the Cliff Notes and the like as a GUIDE, not as a substitution for reading. Trust me when I tell you. I'd flush you out in a minute, as I would your classmates, if you relied on sources other than your own reading. Do the right and honorable thing and do the assignment even if you must ask for an extension.

if you are in advanced english then lorna doone shouldn't
be too difficult. it sounds to me like you just want to do
it the easy way. there is still time to read the book. just
set yourself down and do it. not every assignment has
to be interesting or overtly relevant to you personally to
advance your education, but every assignment has been
given you for a reason. make up your mind to read that
book and get if done now.

you have 3 techniques: Get off the pc, and initiate examining the e book and cram all evening. initiate examining the e book and taking notes, then tell your instructor you thoroughly screwed up and desire extra time. risk is she would be waiting to be so stunned by potential of your honesty she'll provide it to you. Drop out of faculty and initiate working at McDonalds, because of the fact in case you do no longer make plans on taking accountability for your self this is the place you will finally end up.

Instead of spending all that time looking for cheats, you should have been reading the book. You are only hurting yourself.
