Actually before Bush anti-Americanism was confined to the hard left and militant Islamists.

For example, even in supposedly American hating France the approval rating for the US was approx 70% in 1999, now its 30%.
(This pattern is repeated in most of the rest of the world).

A number of polls in the UK have shown that 80-90% want to break the alliance with the US (eg http://uk.news.yahoo.com/17082006/344/britons-want-terror-policy-change.html)

as much as I hate to admit it you're desirable. i understand it has taken quite a few years to get this lots hate from something of the international.
