I'm planning to go to Vegas on Veteran's Day weekend, is there any way to get cheap/free tickets to the Blue Man Group show?
My friend said sometimes you can find people giving free tix for when you fill out some surveys for them and stuff... is this true and where do I find such people? Does the giant Coke Bottle tix place also sell cheap tix for BMG? What are the chances of their actually having cheap tix avail for sale there...?

I'm 21 so I can go into casinos and fill out surveys and do all that stuff... =)

I would buy in advance. The time that I saw BMG, we waited until the day of the show to buy tickets. The reservation desk said that the show was sold out, but then she checked her computer and found that a VIP had canceled. We got third row, center, tickets for $65, which is unheard of. We just lucked out. Its definitely worth the money, its an indescribable experience. If you stay close to New York, New York, they have a booth set up where you see shows for free but you have to sit through a four hour timeshare presentation and then talk to a high pressure salesman. The booth was located on the second floor entrance, across from the MGM Grand.

Trust me, you do not want cheap/free tickets. I got a pair of tickets for Blue Man Group once that were $65 each and the seats were in the very front row. I had to put on a plastic raincoat. There was a reason for this. Believe me when I tell you it is not the same thing if you are in the back. I was scared to death through the whole thing because they were so erratic and weird you never know what they might do. In the back you miss out on the terror of the thing.

They are worth the money. Just check with the hotel and see if you may be able to get discounted tickets. If not I would not recommend any other form of trying to get a ticket. My time is more valuable to me than to sit filling out forms or going on some timeshare presentation.

They have Tix4Tonight booths there, which are usually half price tickets.

Maybe that's what's at the big Coke bottle.
