I have so many cassette tapes but no tape player. I would love it if someone could transfer all my cassettes to cd's. I would do it myself but im technologically challenged.

Walgreen's does it! but it just cost to much...buy yourself a machine and do it....yourself, and later one you can open your own business and do it for other ppl...

It may be cheaper to use eBay to buy all your cassettes on CD, this way you get what you want and you would still retain your cassettes as backups.

If you do want to do it yourself there are units available that are very easy to use and do not involve computers.

Something like the Tascam CDA500 is a good unit.

I used a device called an iMic to record analog into my Mac. Only $39 at Apple stores. Works great but you still only get analog quality. I simply hooked the RCA cables from my old stereo system to the iMic, loaded the software that it comes with, and recorded them into iTunes. Then I burned them onto CD.

there are players on the market that run about 300 - 400 with the cd recorder in the player.
companies like heartland, that sell products at reduced prices you may be able to get it a cheaper price.
