Im looking on the computer for a good laptop.. Cause I want one for my bday.. But I dont know what to look for and what not to look for. Im fine with getting a used one as long as its not crappy.. and doesnt have alot of noticable scratches. Im really interested in this one:

Also. If you know of good websites that have good laptops for good prices and arent rip offs, I would love to get those!! Thanks so much!

Go to the Dell website. They may have proprietary issues, but they're good quality, and the prices are very reasonable.

I have a Toshiba Satellite A105-S2051 and I love it! I got it from Best Buy a few months ago. It was $200 off so I ended up with $628 for it with tax. The laptop you posted about would be very, very slow by today's standards and doesn't have much of anything. In my opinion (as a final year Computer Science degree student) it would be a complete waste of money. If you need a machine for very simple stuff (like spreadsheets and word processing) I recommend you get this at the very least:

Good luck girlie!

Check on Dell's website, i trust they have good deals and you can have a new laptop at a very cheap price.

I am sure the money you want to spend on second hand laptop can get you a brand new one from Dell.

Happy Birthday in advance, may the Lord grant you many many more with happiness and iron health.

hey, you waste your money. that iBook is crap and for the waste basket.

check once this refurbished Toshiba Tecra notebook, that's WAY better. ok, i know 39 bucks too much plus $42 shipping cost but it's worth the price.

another suggestion is to get a new laptop. be aware that under $500 you can't get something useful.
