What type of cell phone will work worldwide?

I travel a lot overseas and at some locations my cell phone will not work, especially the Bahamas

a satellite cell phone...i used one when i was in iraq and afghanistan. works decent as long as you have a good connection...but works world wide for sure..also it is alittle pricey

I don't know about worldwide, but Verizon works throughout North America

just get it set to roaming
