thats your body letting you know you dont need 9 hours sleep
you can get away with a minimum of 6-7 hours sleep as an adult,we need more sleep when we are ill but that about it,
children however need plenty of sleep as they are growing at such a consistant rate, my kids need 11hours both at 7-8yrs and believe me it makes a difference.

and when you wake up you feel tiered it is only a feeling
you are rested after five hours your body has rested but not recuperated so you need more of them9 hours I'm afraid Dave

alot of times when we get too much sleep our body will react in the same way as getting too little sleep. try to sleep about the same amount every night--good luck

u can over sleep and if your body is not used to it then it takes a while to adapt
