in the vagina area. A lot of preasure is what she says. She is trying to stay off her feet and not do anything because she wants me to be there with her. As of last week she was diatalted to 2 or 3 and I'm hoping that she can wait just a few more days. It's been awhile for me since I have been pregnant and seem to have forgotten alot lol I didn't think I could after being pregnant 3 times but I did. Do you think that if she stays off her feet that it could help her??? Or does anyone have any ideas that have helped them not deliver early?

Well ..... to begin with congrats on becoming an aunt...
Next you are cutting it REALLY close, alot of first time moms have their babies early.

Now to answer your question: Her being off her feet might help with the pressure, but as all of us know (who have had children) there is nothing you can do to stop the baby from coming. She really need to be timing how often she is experiencing these bout of pressure, because she could be one of the rare lucky ones that only experiences pressure during labor, rather than the hard cramp like contractions.

Good luck

Those are signs of the baby wanting to come out, since she is already dilated, the baby may come out now and not on the due date. If the baby is coming out, nothing will stop her/him from doing so. Good luck and God bless!

She should get some rest and stay off her feet, but if the baby is ready to come out, then he/she is ready to come. You shouldn't postpone it.

Its possible that if she stays on bed rest, that she could postpone her delivery... but once the baby is really ready to come, there will be no stopping it.
