Been a while since I was in one of those.
Buy parts/gaskets.
1. raise and drain rear end.
2. pull plate
3. look for clips on end of axles. remove wheels
4. remove bearing assemplies on wheels.
5. if clips present remove then remove axles(no nee to fully remove unless replacing outer bearings).
6. remove bearing and differential bearing assemblies.
the diff will fall out.....
AW GEEZ...remove drive shaft and remove pinion before step 5
7. Get a Haynes manual. that'll help. go by the Library they have old ones.

unbolt 12 bolts on the rear end cover remove 5 16ths pin bolt push each tire in remove the 2 c-clips one on each axle remove (4) 5/8 cap bolts pull out differential.
